Brig. Gen. Roel Rodolfo has officially taken over as the new police chief of Zamboanga Peninsula, succeeding Brig. Gen. Bowenn Joey Masauding, who was appointed as the Philippine National Police (PNP) director for comptrollers.
In Laguna, Col. Ricardo Dalmacia has replaced Col. Gauvin Mel Unos as the acting provincial police director during a ceremony at Camp Vicente Lim.
The first wave of PNP reshuffling in the Calabarzon region saw 37 police chiefs reassigned in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon.
Rodolfo expressed his honor in leading Zamboanga toward a crime-free and secure community during his speech at Camp Col. Romeo Abendan.
Other officers, including Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo and Col. Melvin Napiloy also received new assignments across various regions.
