Bella Belen has been named the UAAP Season 87 women’s volleyball Most Valuable Player, marking the third MVP award of her career.
She joins Ateneo’s Alyssa Valdez and FEU’s Ailyn Ege as the only three-time MVPs in the women’s division.
Belen, who also earned her third Best Outside Spiker award, tallied 96.226 statistical points, almost 22 points ahead of second-place Shaina Nitura.
Throughout the season, she ranked fourth in scoring, first in service aces, and also made notable contributions in spiking and blocking.
After receiving the award, Belen expressed gratitude to God, her family, and teammates, promising that the title will remain with National University.
