ANTIQUE ALLOCATES P1.1-M INCENTIVE FOR PWD, SENIOR CITIZENS’ FACILITY

San Remigio will use its PHP1.153 million Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) incentive to build a dedicated Persons with Disability (PWD) and Senior Citizens Center.

Mayor Margarito Mission Jr. announced that the bidding for the construction will begin next week.

The center aims to provide a permanent space for PWDs and senior citizens to hold meetings and conduct official transactions, including registrations and ID requests.

Currently, these groups only have a desk at the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).

The facility will be air-conditioned and designed to meet accessibility standards, joining other projects funded by the 2023 SGLG incentive, such as the Sangguniang Kabataan session hall.
