Authorities confiscated over ₱121 million worth of substandard wristwatches, phones, and accessories during a raid in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City, according to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).
The operation, led by CIDG director Brig. Gen. Romeo Macapaz, targeted sellers of counterfeit Apple products based on public reports.
Two suspects, identified only as Crissa and Charles, were caught selling items without proper clearance from the NTC and DTI.
Seized items included iWatches, AirPods, headphones, and a variety of electronic accessories.
The suspects face charges under the Consumer Act of the Philippines, as authorities urge the public to report similar illegal activities.
