Under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive, the Philippine government launched the Bagong Bayani ng Mundo–OFW Serbisyo Caravan 2025 to provide on-site services to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
From June to October, the caravan visited 11 international cities, including Hong Kong, Riyadh, Osaka, Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, Shanghai, and several European hubs, assisting 18,790 OFWs with over 31,000 transactions.
The initiative brought together 18 government agencies and one NGO, offering services such as contract verification, legal aid, documentation processing, social protection enrollment, and national ID registration in a one-stop setup.
Beyond administrative support, the caravan fostered community engagement through cultural activities, wellness zones, hospital visits, and outreach to distressed workers.
Guided by DMW Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac, the program highlighted whole-of-government coordination and reinforced the Philippines’ commitment to protecting and supporting its migrant workforce abroad.
