Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) won the Asaphil-Cebuana Lhuillier Men’s Softball Invitational by defeating DAX-GF, 4-2, at the Montano grounds in Cavite City.
PUP’s Jehanz Coro earned both the Most Valuable Player and Best Pitcher awards, while Kenneth Torres swept hitting honors, including Best Hitter, Best Slugger, Home Run King, and Most RBI.
Francis Generoso also took home the Most Stolen Bases award.
ASAPHIL President Jean Henri Lhuillier highlighted the tournament’s role in developing future Filipino softball athletes and nurturing local talent.
Lhuillier emphasized Cebuana Lhuillier’s ongoing commitment to building a strong system for sustained excellence in Philippine softball.
