As Holy Week began, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. called on Filipinos to remain resilient and optimistic despite life’s challenges.
On Palm Sunday, he encouraged the nation to reflect on the Lord’s example of compassion and self-giving, acknowledging the hardships Jesus faced in fulfilling His mission.
Marcos highlighted the significance of Christ’s sacrifice, which brought the gift of salvation, urging the people to stay strong and hopeful amidst adversity.
He also emphasized that, like Christ, Filipinos should strive to be better people, filled with understanding and charity.
Reflecting on the triumph of Easter, Marcos encouraged the public to find inspiration in God’s love and to persevere through life’s struggles while staying dedicated to serving others.
