POLICE AND MILITARY SEE INCREASED TRUST RATINGS, SAYS OCTA

More Filipinos are showing increased trust and satisfaction with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP), according to the July 2025 Tugon ng Masa survey by OCTA Research.

The survey found that 81 percent of respondents trust the AFP, up from 65 percent in April, with 82 percent satisfied with its performance.

Trust in the PNP also rose to 71 percent from 62 percent, while 73 percent expressed satisfaction with the police force’s performance.

Only a small percentage of respondents expressed distrust or dissatisfaction with both agencies.

The AFP welcomed the results, saying the survey reflects the collective trust of Filipinos that motivates their service.
