Senate Minority Leader Aquilino Pimentel III urged his colleagues to listen to the families of drug suspects killed during former President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs.
He emphasized that these grieving families deserve serious attention and a proper investigation.
This comes as Sen. Bong Go called for a parallel Senate inquiry into the anti-drugs campaign.
Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada supported the idea of inviting Duterte to testify, citing past instances where former presidents participated in such probes.
Estrada stressed that Duterte’s testimony would be key to uncovering the truth and ensuring justice.
