During a Coffee in Good Spirits (CIGS) event in Vienna on April 4, GOTA Coffee Experts showcased unique coffee cocktails featuring Philippine specialty coffee and premium liquor.
The event, which marked the launch of Filipino Food Month in April, featured drinks made with Mindanao’s single-origin coffee and Destileria Limtuaco liquor.
One cocktail, inspired by the Filipino snack turon, combined Very Old Captain Artisan-Crafted Dark Rum, cold brew coffee, and banana cream, while the other mixed Manille Liqueur de Dalandan with clarified milk and espresso.
Philippine Ambassador to Austria Evangelina Arroyo-Bernas emphasized the event’s goal to highlight the world-class quality of Filipino coffee and liquors.
The specialty coffee and cocktails will be available at GOTA’s brew bar throughout April, with art cards detailing the coffees’ origins and flavor profiles.
