The Philippine Army’s 3rd Infantry Division and the Australian Defense Force have started joint military exercises in Capiz province.
The month-long “Kasangga: 2025-02” aims to strengthen interoperability, improve tactical skills, and build camaraderie between the two armies.
Major Gen. Efren F. Morados highlighted Australia’s role as a trusted partner of the Philippines.
Australian defense attaché Capt. Emma McDonald-Kerr emphasized that the exercises promote unity in addressing Asia-Pacific security challenges.
The opening ceremony was held at Camp Peralta in Jamindan town, with Brig. Gen. Joey A. Escanillas is also in attendance.
