The Philippines has partnered with South Korea’s TYM Corporation to modernize its agricultural sector through mechanization.
PHilMech and TYM signed a memorandum of understanding on October 1 to establish a framework for training and technical collaboration.
The agreement includes creating the PHilMech Academy on Postharvest and Mechanization to enhance Filipino expertise.
Over the next five years, TYM will provide training materials, instructors, and sessions, with top trainees given the chance to train in South Korea.
This partnership aims to boost agricultural modernization and improve support for farmers through knowledge transfer and technology.
