In 2025, President Marcos prioritized social protection, food security, and improved public services, implementing programs across transportation, social welfare, and the economy, the PCO reported.
Measures included fare discounts for students, senior citizens, and PWDs, the deployment of idle Dalian trains to improve MRT-3 operations, and upgrades to key airports.
The administration expanded social programs such as the 4Ps cash transfer program, SSS pension reforms, and the AKSYON Fund for overseas Filipino workers.
To boost food security, the government distributed fertilizers and farm machinery, stabilized rice supply through policy adjustments, and launched the Benteng Bigas Meron Na program for affordable rice.
Marcos also accelerated digital transformation by expanding the eGovPH Super App, improving connectivity with free Wi-Fi, and strengthening cybersecurity to ensure accessible and secure government services.
