The Philippine Embassy in Beijing announced that a Chinese trade mission will visit Manila in October to explore investment opportunities in the Philippines.
This follows a recent investment symposium organized by the embassy and the Department of Trade and Industry, which aimed to strengthen business ties between the two countries.
Philippine Ambassador Jaime FlorCruz emphasized the importance of the mission, especially as both nations celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations.
Chinese businesses were briefed on opportunities in sectors like electronics, green energy, infrastructure, and tourism during the forum.
China remains a key trading partner and a top source of investment for the Philippines, ranking as the fourth largest investor in the first half of 2025.
