Manny Pacquiao returned to the ring with a strong performance against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios at the MGM Grand, showing flashes of his trademark speed and power despite a four-year hiatus and being 46 years old.
The fight ended in a majority decision draw, allowing Barrios to retain his title after edging out the final rounds.
Pacquiao, now holding a 62-8-3 record, expressed openness to a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr., though he acknowledged the former champ’s retirement.
“If he wants, let’s fight again,” Pacquiao said, reigniting talk of a possible sequel to their 2015 “Fight of the Century.”
Mayweather, who retired in 2017 with a 50-0 record, has yet to respond to the challenge.
