Makati Life Medical Center (MLMC), the first public-private partnership (PPP) tertiary hospital in the Philippines, was named “Integrated Healthcare Provider of the Year” at the 2025 Healthcare Asia Awards in Malaysia.
The award recognized MLMC for its innovative integration of a comprehensive primary care system within a hospital and its pioneering PPP with the City Government of Makati.
MLMC’s care model combines private sector efficiency with public sector accessibility, serving over 800 patients daily, 70% of whom are seen through a structured appointment system.
Since opening its Primary Care Center in May 2023, MLMC has provided a wide range of services, including consultations, diagnostics, treatment, and specialty care, often in a single visit.
The hospital’s partnership with the City Government involved a P10 billion investment by Life Nurture Inc., with the city providing the hospital shell and lot.
