MADIS SET TO COMPETE IN MALAYSIA AND THAILAND TENNIS EVENTS

Philippine Tennis Academy player Tennielle Madis has resumed training in preparation for her upcoming tennis tournaments in Malaysia and Thailand.

The 17-year-old from M’lang, North Cotabato is currently ranked No. 213 in the ITF Juniors rankings.

She will travel to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for a J200 event starting on April 15, followed by a J300 event in Thailand from April 28 to May 3.

Madis aims to improve her rankings and eventually compete in the Junior Grand Slams this year.

Under the guidance of coach Robert Angelo, Madis has achieved notable success, including two doubles titles in the UAE and five doubles titles in various international locations last year.
