The Macau Black Bears will join the upcoming PBA Commissioner’s Cup as a guest team, with the conference starting on March 11.
The team signed a memorandum of agreement with PBA officials during a meeting in Macau.
Former guest teams in the league include the Bay Area Dragons, who reached the Season 47 finals, and Hong Kong Eastern, who exited in the Season 49 quarterfinals.
Key players for the Black Bears include Damian Chongqui, Omari Peek-Green, Phoenix Shackelford, and Sam Deguara.
The team previously played in the ASEAN Basketball League and currently competes in the East Asia Super League and the Asian Tournament.
