The San Miguel Beermen successfully defended their PBA Philippine Cup title with a 92-77 win over TNT Tropang 5G in Game 6 at the Mall of Asia Arena, securing their third championship in four years and the franchise’s 31st overall.
June Mar Fajardo led the Beermen with a dominant 29 points, 23 rebounds, and solid all-around contributions, while CJ Perez added 19 points and seven assists.
Despite losing an early 19-point lead, San Miguel regained control in the fourth quarter, outscoring TNT 22-9 to seal the victory.
TNT mounted a comeback in the third quarter, briefly taking a two-point lead, but the Beermen responded with a decisive 12-4 run and later a 14-4 surge to clinch the title.
Calvin Oftana led TNT with 28 points but was scoreless in the final frame, leaving the Tropang 5G unable to overcome San Miguel’s late-game dominance.
