The Land Transportation Office (LTO) will deploy two mobile command centers on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) and South Luzon Expressway (SLEx) for the holiday season.
The centers aim to monitor traffic, ensure passenger safety, and provide immediate responses to road incidents such as crashes and road rage.
Equipped with AI-based cameras, the command centers can capture vehicle details like plate numbers and colors.
Passengers can also approach the units for assistance or to report accidents.
The NLEx command center will be stationed near the middle of NLEx and SCTEx, while the SLEx unit will be placed in Calamba, both operating until the end of the New Year.
