The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has issued 272 special permits for 753 buses to support the increased travel demand during Undas, covering the period from Oct. 25 to Nov. 10, 2024.
LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III said additional permits may be granted if needed to accommodate passengers at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange.
The LTFRB is collaborating with bus operators to ensure all units are roadworthy and comply with safety protocols.
Inspections at bus terminals have been intensified, and personnel have been deployed to monitor fares and assist passengers.
The agency assures the public of sufficient transport options for those traveling to honor their departed loved ones.
