Land Bank of the Philippines is ramping up its digital services to reduce over-the-counter transactions, according to President and CEO Lynette Ortiz.
The bank aims to encourage customers to utilize digital channels such as the Landbank mobile app and iAccess online platform.
Initiatives include automated queuing systems and online appointment booking. Since 2018, account opening times have been reduced from 45 to 15 minutes.
A new straight-through account-opening feature will be available in April, providing instant access to digital services.
Landbank plans to onboard more billers and intensify marketing efforts for digital adoption. Ortiz emphasized investments in digital infrastructure and security measures.
