Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero highlighted the 46th-anniversary celebration of the Jesus is Lord Church Worldwide (JILCW) at Quirino Grandstand as the guest of honor.
Escudero presented Senate Resolution 1885, congratulating the church on its milestone anniversary, and recognizing its contributions over the years.
Despite heavy rains, an estimated 15,000 attendees gathered to celebrate, with Escudero joining church leader Bro. Eddie Villanueva in marking the occasion.
Villanueva emphasized that followers should focus on pleasing God rather than seeking human praise, stressing the importance of a relationship with Jesus.
The event celebrated 46 years of JILCW under the theme “Christ is the answer.”
