The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) will livestream all hearings on YouTube and Facebook starting next week, unless a closed-door session is requested.
Media outlets must apply for access and cover the entire proceedings, with selective coverage prohibited, while violations may lead to suspension or legal sanctions.
Closed sessions can be granted for government agencies or witnesses, and the ICI may pixelate faces or redact documents to protect sources and comply with laws.
All recordings will be controlled by the commission, with no panning or zooming allowed, and repeat broadcasts require written approval.
The ICI investigates anomalies in flood control and infrastructure projects and recommends cases to the Ombudsman based on its findings.
