The Philippine women’s national football team, the Filipinas, has outlined a structured preparation plan following their qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Head coach Mark Torcaso stressed that the team is aiming not just to participate but to compete strongly and advance beyond the group stage.
The Filipinas recently boosted their FIFA ranking to No. 39 after a strong AFC Women’s Asian Cup campaign, which secured their second consecutive World Cup berth.
The Philippine Football Federation reaffirmed its full support for the program, highlighting investments in training camps and long-term development initiatives.
Looking ahead, the team will maximize FIFA international windows and face diverse international opponents as they prepare for the tournament in Brazil.
