Fans worldwide, including Filipinos, scrambled to buy tickets for BTS’s upcoming “Arirang” world tour, with shows planned in South Korea, North America, Europe, and the Philippines.
The tour kicks off in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9, 11, and 12, featuring a 360-degree stage with no designated front stage.
BTS fan club members on the Weverse app had early access through an Army Membership Presale, sparking intense online queues described by fans as a “bloody war.”
Ticket prices for the South Korea shows range from about $135 to $180, with optional Play & Stay packages including hotel accommodations priced up to $1,289.
The BTS world tour will reach the Philippines on March 13 and 14 next year, though venue and ticket details are yet to be announced.
