Apollo Quiboloy, leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC), was accused in a Senate hearing of ordering the killings of former members who knew too much about his alleged sex crimes, including grooming young girls for his “inner pastoral.”
Two former members testified that Quiboloy had a private “Angels of Death” group to target ex-followers. Quiboloy denied the accusations, calling them fabrications and challenging his accusers to file legal cases.
He is also facing charges in the U.S. for human trafficking and sexual abuse, but his extradition has not been requested.
One victim, Teresita Valdehueza, testified about enduring sexual abuse and threats from Quiboloy’s bodyguards after she attempted to leave the group.
