Only new programs are temporarily delayed while implementation guidelines are finalized.
Personnel salaries and essential services continue uninterrupted, with the 2026 budget set to take effect on the first working day of the year.
Education Secretary Sonny Angara expressed gratitude to teachers, students, and partners for their efforts in 2025.
Meanwhile, the Teachers’ Dignity Coalition highlighted the October wellness break as a key achievement for educators last year.
