CONVERGE, ROS CLASH AS GINEBRA EYES REBOUND WIN IN PBA WEDNESDAY SHOWDOWN

Converge and Rain or Shine face off in a high-stakes clash of streaking teams as the PBA Philippine Cup resumes Wednesday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.

The FiberXers (3-2) will look to avenge their previous playoff loss to the Elasto Painters (2-1), who are riding a two-game win streak despite a depleted frontcourt.

ROS coach Yeng Guiao is concerned about matching up with Converge’s dominant “Twin Towers” — Justin Arana and Justine Baltazar — who have been averaging double-doubles.

Meanwhile, Barangay Ginebra (1-1) aims to rebound against NorthPort (1-2), a team they previously defeated in the Commissioner’s Cup semis.

NorthPort is reeling from back-to-back blowout losses, while Ginebra is coming off a defeat to San Miguel.
