Thousands of Filipinos joined anti-corruption protests on Sunday, with celebrities including Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Miss Earth Philippines 2025 Joy Barcoma, and actors Elijah Canlas and Pokwang showing support.
Gray called on the Ombudsman to file cases against implicated officials, urged the Senate to suspend senators under scrutiny, and pushed Congress to pass the anti-dynasty bill.
The Trillion Peso March program was held at the People Power Monument in Quezon City, while other protests took place at Luneta Park, where Maris Racal and actress Carmi Martin were also present.
Musicians and performers, including Ben&Ben, Over October, Maki, and Morobeats, entertained and energized the crowds with protest songs.
Veteran actors Mitch Valdes and Celeste Legaspi also took the stage, reinforcing the call for accountability and transparency in government.
