Senator Ronald dela Rosa claimed that many local government officials are reluctant to openly support opposition candidates due to fear of retaliation from the Marcos administration.
Despite this, he acknowledged some officials, such as Oriental Mindoro Governor Humerlito Dolor, who have taken the risk of backing his reelection bid.
Dela Rosa expressed his gratitude to Dolor for his support and prayers, sharing their collaboration on social media.
He also thanked Bais City Mayor Luigi Marcel Goñi for his endorsement, sharing photos from their meeting.
As a reelectionist under PDP-Laban, Dela Rosa pledged to continue combating illegal drugs, criminality, and corruption if he wins another term.
