Anker Innovations has announced a voluntary recall of four power bank models sold in the Philippines due to a potential battery defect that could cause overheating and pose fire hazards.
The affected units, sourced from a third-party supplier, include specific models with 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh capacities under the Anker and Anker Zolo brands.
Customers are advised to check their device’s model and serial numbers online and to stop using recalled units immediately, with options for replacement or vouchers through Anker’s recall program.
Affected units can be returned at select Anker and Nifty stores nationwide or via free courier arranged through Anker’s customer support.
Anker emphasized that other products are not affected and reaffirmed its commitment to safety and quality.
