Young actor Andres Muhlach is set to star in the upcoming production of Bagets the Musical, taking on the role of Adie, originally played by his father, Aga Muhlach.
He will alternate the role with fellow VIVA artist Mico Hendrix Chua, joining a cast that includes Noel Comia Jr., Tomas Rodriguez, Ethan David, and KD Estrada, among others.
Andres expressed excitement about stepping into such an iconic role and said his father is “super happy” to see how he approaches the character.
Having recently made his film debut, Andres feels prepared for the stage after workshops and practice, aiming to create a fresh take for today’s audience.
Bagets the Musical will run from January to March 2026 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.
