The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the northeast monsoon or “amihan” will continue to bring cold and dry winds over Luzon, including Metro Manila, and most parts of the Visayas.
Weather specialist Chenel Dominguez said no low-pressure area or weather disturbance is being monitored inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
The shear line will affect Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Southern Leyte, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon are expected to have overcast skies with light rains due to amihan.
The rest of Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized weather systems.
