12 COUNTRIES CONFIRMED FOR ASIAN TRACK CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIPS IN TAGAYTAY

The 45th Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC) Track Championships will be held in Tagaytay City from March 25 to 31, marking the first time the Philippines has hosted the event in 31 years.

Twelve nations, including Japan, South Korea, China, and Malaysia, have confirmed participation, with over 200 athletes expected to compete at the new UCI-standard Tagaytay City CT Velodrome.

Competitions will feature men’s and women’s events in sprints, keirin, time trials, team pursuits, and other track cycling disciplines, alongside the 14th Asian Para Track Cycling Championships.

Tagaytay City Mayor Aizack Brent Tolentino and the Philippine Olympic Committee pledged full support to ensure smooth operations, while organizers anticipate more countries may join before the January 15 registration deadline.

The velodrome, inaugurated in June 2025, is the newest indoor wood facility in Asia, replacing the demolished Amoranto Velodrome in Quezon City.
