National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reports that Typhoon Tino (international name Typhoon Kalmaegi) has resulted in 52 confirmed fatalities—50 in Central Visayas and two in Eastern Visayas—and 13 reported missing.
The storm has displaced approximately 436,911 individuals (129,679 families), with the highest displacement in Western Visayas (219,902 people).
A total of 50 flooded areas across Mimaropa, Visayas, and Caraga were reported, along with a landslide in Western Visayas; damage also includes 21 roads and five bridges that remain impassable.
Sixty‐one cities and municipalities experienced power interruptions (only 11 have been restored so far), and all seven municipalities in the Caraga region remain without communications.
In response to the scale of the calamity, Central Visayas has declared a region‑wide state of calamity to facilitate emergency response and recovery efforts.
