TWO PHILIPPINE MILITARY ACADEMY CADETS NOW PART OF JAPAN’S NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY

Two Philippine Military Academy (PMA) cadets, Dwight Humprey Balmes and Neil Zievart Pula, have officially joined the Japan National Defense Academy (JNDA) to undergo rigorous academic and military training.

Before entering the JNDA on April 5, the cadets completed a year of Japanese language and cultural training.

The exchange program highlights the strengthening defense cooperation between the Philippines and Japan, with support from the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo and the Office of the Philippine Defense and Armed Forces attaché.

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) views this as a milestone in international collaboration and a testament to shared excellence.

The PMA continues to offer Filipino youth quality education, opportunities for international study, and preparation for future leadership in the AFP.
