A House majority leader revealed new fictitious names allegedly linked to Vice President Sara Duterte’s confidential funds, including those in a list referred to as “Team Grocery.”
House Deputy Majority Leader Rep. Paolo Ortega pointed out that the names resemble common food items, such as “Beverly Claire Pampano,” “Mico Harina,” and “Ralph Josh Bacon,” and raised concerns about the legitimacy of these entries.
Ortega stated that these names do not match any records from the Philippine Statistics Authority, suggesting possible misappropriation of the confidential funds.
He also referenced a previous list of fictitious names, including “Team Amoy Asim” and others related to the Department of Education (DepEd).
Ortega further noted that a significant number of individuals allegedly receiving confidential funds lacked official birth, marriage, or death certificates, prompting questions about where the funds went.
