The official website of the Tarlac City government was defaced on Friday, displaying a message demanding an end to corruption ahead of nationwide protests.
The hacked homepage called for ongoing protests until those responsible for corruption are held accountable and stolen funds are recovered.
The message linked corruption not only to flood-control projects and the DPWH but also to political dynasties and financial aid programs.
Mayor Susan Yap said 51 flood-control projects funded by the previous administration are currently being inspected.
The defaced site also featured the email addresses of several senators, urging people to speak out against corruption.
