ROARING BACK! SAN BEDA RECLAIMS NCAA CROWN IN EPIC CHAMPIONSHIP CLASH!

The San Beda Red Lions have emerged victorious and reclaimed the NCAA men’s basketball championship. In a thrilling Game 3 of the finals held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, the Red Lions defeated the Mapua Cardinals with a final score of 76-66.

After Mapua took a three-point lead, San Beda responded with a 10-0 run, securing a 68-61 advantage. Despite Mapua’s attempts to mount a comeback, San Beda maintained their lead and sealed the victory.

This championship marks the first for the Red Lions since Season 94 and their 23rd overall men’s basketball championship. Yukien Andrada delivered an outstanding performance for San Beda, contributing 20 points, six rebounds, and two steals. James Payosing also played a crucial role down the stretch, recording a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds.

For Mapua, JC Recto led the team with 18 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists, while Clint Escamis, the season MVP and Rookie of the Year, provided support.
