RISING FROM DEFEAT: ALEX EALA VOWS TO RETURN STRONGER AFTER MIAMI OPEN

Following her exit from the 2024 Miami Open qualifiers, Filipino tennis player Alex Eala expressed gratitude to fans and vowed to return “stronger” after the setback.

Eala faced Colombia’s Emiliana Arango, suffering a 6-2, 5-7, 1-6 loss and battling cramps midway through the match.

Despite the disappointment, Eala affirmed her determination to bounce back.

The first quarter of the year has been a mix of highs and lows for Eala, who claimed her first women’s doubles championship in January but exited the W75 Porto in February after a quarterfinal defeat.
