Quezon City is considering a sister city agreement with Naga to strengthen cooperation between the two local governments.
Former Vice President and newly elected Naga Mayor Leni Robredo met with Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte to discuss best practices, especially in housing and urban development.
They also explored Quezon City’s initiatives, like digitizing business transactions, establishing district offices, and improving public services such as online birth registration.
Robredo, set to become Naga’s first female mayor, thanked Belmonte for the warm reception.
The meeting included key Quezon City officials and former congressman Kit Belmonte, highlighting shared political ties.
