The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) held the musical concert “Musikalayaan” at Rizal Park to celebrate pre-Independence Day and showcase the talents of Filipino soldiers.
The event, themed “Our Seas, Our Rights, Our Future,” aimed to raise awareness about protecting the West Philippine Sea and the country’s maritime sovereignty.
Performances featured members from various military and uniformed services, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard, as well as civilian groups.
Celebrity reservists such as Geneva Cruz, Arci Munoz, Ronnie Liang, and Rocco Nacino also joined the show.
AFP officials emphasized the concert’s focus on freedom, the future, and the nation’s history.
