The Quezon City Government will hold the first Annual Convention of the Quezon City Health Network (QCHN) on June 20-21 to strengthen local implementation of Universal Health Care.
Led by Mayor Joy Belmonte, the two-day event will unite doctors, public health professionals, hospital leaders, and government representatives to promote a people-centered health system.
The convention, themed “Strengthening Local Healthcare: Advancement, Innovation, and Inclusive Health for Quezon City,” will feature presentations on topics like geriatric care, antimicrobial stewardship, pediatric malnutrition, and mental health integration.
Key local health ordinances and inclusive health initiatives from city departments will also be discussed.
Mayor Belmonte will deliver the keynote address, emphasizing the city’s commitment to accessible and integrated health services for all residents.
