PSA FLAGS 405K ‘NON-EXISTENT’ BENEFICIARIES IN OVP AID LIST

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) revealed that 405,677 listed beneficiaries of the Office of the Vice President’s (OVP) financial aid programs could not be verified in their database.

This discovery raised concerns about the proper allocation of funds and the integrity of beneficiary lists.

The PSA emphasized the importance of accurate records to prevent fraud and ensure aid reaches legitimate recipients.

The OVP stated it is conducting its review and pledged to address the discrepancies swiftly.

Authorities urged stronger coordination between agencies to improve data accuracy in social welfare programs.
