PRESIDENT MARCOS APPROVES THE CREATION OF NEW LTO DISTRICT OFFICES

President Marcos has signed several laws that establish new district offices and upgrade existing ones for the Land Transportation Office (LTO) across the country.

Among the new offices, RA 12125 converts the LTO extension office in Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte into a regular district office, while RA 12126 creates a new office in Sulop, Davao del Sur.

Other new district offices include those in Gattaran, Cagayan; Taal, Batangas; Naguilian, La Union; and Maayon, Capiz.

The laws also include upgrades for existing LTO offices, such as the office in Digos, Davao del Sur, which was elevated from class “D” to class “C,” and the Urdaneta office in Pangasinan, which became a class “A” district office.

These laws were signed by the President on March 14 and published in the Official Gazette on March 22.
