PNP TO DEPLOY DRONES IN 2025 ANTI-DRUG OPERATIONS

The Philippine National Police (PNP) plans to enhance its anti-drug operations by procuring drones in 2025.

PNP Chief Rommel Francisco Marbil proposed this initiative to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. during a command conference at Camp Crame.

The integration of unmanned aerial vehicles aims to improve surveillance and intelligence-gathering capabilities in the fight against illegal drugs.

PNP Public Information head BGen. Jean Fajardo emphasized that this technological advancement would strengthen law enforcement efforts.

The proposal reflects the PNP’s commitment to adopting modern tools to combat crime effectively.
