After a successful debut in 2024, the Philippines will once again participate in the Bologna Children’s Book Fair (BCBF) from March 31 to April 3.
The country’s delegation, led by the National Book Development Board (NBDB) and the Philippine Board on Books for Young People, will showcase a broader selection of children’s books reflecting the essence of Philippine literature.
NBDB Executive Director Charisse Aquino-Tugade emphasized that this year’s books would highlight the progressive and imaginative nature of Filipino stories for young readers.
The fair, held annually since 1964, attracts over 25,000 visitors and 1,500 exhibitors from 90 countries.
The Philippine booth will be located at Hall 29, B24-C23 of the BolognaFiere Exhibition Center.
