PHILIPPINE AIR ZONE RECORDS OVER 400 UNIDENTIFIED AERIAL TRACKS

President Marcos announced that over 400 “unknown tracks” have been detected within the Philippines’ air defense identification zone, thanks to improved maritime domain awareness and advanced radar systems.

Speaking at the 77th anniversary of the Philippine Air Force (PAF), Marcos highlighted the administration’s efforts to enhance military capabilities, including acquiring new aircraft and upgrading cyber warfare systems.

He emphasized the importance of a stronger Air Force for national security and praised PAF personnel for their dedication and humanitarian efforts.

Additionally, Speaker Martin Romualdez assured support for the AFP Modernization plan, promising legislative backing and budget allocations for advanced defense systems.

Meanwhile, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines urged the government to protect Filipino fishermen in the West Philippine Sea from Chinese aggression, reaffirming the Philippines’ sovereign rights in the area.
