PCSO ALLOCATES ₱708 MILLION TO PHILHEALTH, CHED, AND DDB

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has remitted ₱708 million to various government agencies, including the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth), the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB).

This allocation is part of PCSO’s mandate to support health programs, medical assistance, and other charitable services.

PhilHealth received the largest share to bolster its universal healthcare initiatives, while CHED’s portion is designated for educational assistance programs.

The DDB’s allocation aims to strengthen anti-drug campaigns and rehabilitation efforts.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles emphasized the agency’s commitment to contributing to essential public services through these remittances.
